Job Title: SAP NetWeaver-PI Consultant

Duration: 6+ Months 

Location: Boston, MA 

 Responsibilities

- Work as part of Application Development team to design, build, and test PI objects. 

- Work closely with the Application Architect to design and deliver PI objects 

- Leverage object oriented and PI programming best practices to set the technical basis of the solution

- Codes, tests, and debugs new software / applications or makes enhancements to existing software / applications.

- Contribute to root cause analysis based on system and incident knowledge.

- Resolving problems and making choices, recommendations, or decisions.

- Knowledge of coding, testing, and debugging simple applications.

- Proven ability to effectively troubleshoot program errors.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills

- Min 6 to 7 years of SAP PI / XI experience

- Good knowledge on PI 7.31 (single java stack)architecture

- Regarding SAP PI functionalities- a strong experience in ESR/ID/SLD/NWA and PI Support activities

- Experience in preparing PI technical specification with following adapters – IDOC/Proxy/SOAP/JDBC

- Good PI integration knowledge with could applications – Success factors / Salesforce..etc

- Good integration knowledge working with different SAP modules – HCM/SD/PS/FICO

Job Title: SAP Inventory Management/MM Consultant

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Bellevue, WA

 

Required skill:

Expertise in SAP IM/MM

Good knowledge in Sales & delivery processes (SD)

Basic process understanding of SAP modules like PP, FI, LE  and integration of such processes with MM

Knowledge in SAP IDOC

 

Experience/knowledge in below will definitely be plus points

SAP OER / Event management (good to have but not mandatory)

3PL business processes

Retail industry process

Basic ABAP debugging

 

Job Description:

Strong communication & interpersonal skills while dealing with business users, trading partners, vendors & development team

Understand existing inventory / sales / shipment of the client, participate in various project discussions and propose IT solutions for the requirements

Identify root causes for new problems as well as recurring issues; gather and document functional requirements to determine resolution

Review Business Requirement Document (BRD) and capable of drafting Functional Specification Document (FSD) for configurations, custom ABAP objects, interfaces etc.,

Provide inputs to ABAP/PI development team

Responsible for unit testing of configuration, custom ABAP objects, IDOC's, custom interfaces etc.,

Participate in testing at all levels (integration, end-to-end testing)
