Job Description:

iSoftStone is seeking a talented Senior Java SDET to join our team with a strong testing automation background. We'll provide a stimulating environment with complex challenges. Strong Java programing skills and a test automation background such as Selenium or other platforms/tools are required. Experience in testing web services, API's, and SOA required.

Responsibilities:

Works with peers in Development, Program Management, and Design teams to plan & prioritize the test strategy to ensure timely delivery of desirable features and user experiences.
Design & develop test scenarios that accurately gauge product quality.
Perform performance and latency analysis identifying root causes.
Produce code that is both service and on-premise ready.
Own the end to end quality of a set of business features.
Perform Debugging and Root Cause Analysis of code and product failures.
Design & Develop test automation & tools for feature areas.
Write automated test cases to ensure the adequate coverage for fixes and regression-free deliverables.
Write clear, complete & portable test plans which effectively minimize manual testing and lead to more effective code coverage.
Identify and adopt new testing methodologies, best practices, and tools from appropriate sources, to improve test coverage.
Research new tools and technologies and recommend ways to implement them into new test strategies.
Participate in code reviews and bug fixes.
Mentor other SDETs to help individuals and the team to grow.

Summary of Requirements:

Professional experience with a full understanding of software development; resolving a wide range of issues in creative ways.
Experience with work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience in various software development technologies and practices.
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field with equivalent relevant experience.
