Job Description:  

The Project will consolidate IT systems and equipment for improved efficiency and modernization of the client's IT Systems and infrastructure.  The goal is to deploy PeopleSoft to consolidate multiple outdated human resource, procurement and financial business systems into one efficient, transparent and modern enterprise-wide system. 

 

To support this effort, client is looking for high-energy individuals with significant experience in java development to provide IT services to the department.   In general, candidates will provide analysis, development and technical support for internal applications.  Candidates will provide services for:   (1) project related integration work for systems that need to interface with PeopleSoft modules. (2) Backfill for java applications development staff.

 

Skill requirements:

·         Java

·         WAS 7

·         JUnit testing

·         Java web application technical design

·         Test-Driven Development

·         Significant development experience in the above java tools and technologies is required. 

·         Custom java web applications using DB2 and Oracle database technologies. 

·         Other tools or technologies:  Web services, Maven, Jenkins and MyEclipseBlue.

·         Must be able to work independently.

·         Candidates must have superior communication and organizational skills.
