• Senior level skills in the design and development of web front ends using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and EXT JS are keys. Must have solid work in EXT JS framework
• Proficiency in developing rich, dynamic, interactive front ends that integrate with complex back-end services
• Experience developing web applications using Web/Application servers such as TomCat or IIS Desired Skills
• Intermediate skills in Java and frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate
• Familiarity with SQL and databases such as Oracle
• A consummate team player that can work on demanding projects under extremely tight deadlines
• Demonstrates creativity, the ability to develop and present new ideas and conceptualize new approaches and solutions

Description:
Client's environment encompasses multiple business lines including futures execution, futures clearing, OTC clearing and fixed income clearing businesses. Client is planning to build a new strategic portal to showcase the capabilities of their FCM business to external clients. In addition to supporting external clients, this portal would also support the workflows of many groups within the FCM business such as traders, client services, operations and risk managers.
The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
• Sketch new UI layouts/screens for various functions by partnering with various stakeholder groups within the FCM business
• Develop the new UI modules in Javascript, Ext.JS, HTML5, CSS
• Employ emerging web technologies, agile development methodologies in vogue in the current team
• Enhance the current portal based on the fast evolving business needs
• Partner with the server side developers to integrate with back end Java based services using REST, SOAP or related protocols
• Collaborate with business analysts, other developers, QA team members and production management teams to oversee the roll-out of the UI. In other words, the developer will have complete ownership of the UI from design to build to deployment.
