FW: [FakoNation] Being a black man in the US

Bandeko (family),

I hope all is well with you in the USA.
Over the past few years it is becoming increasingly evident that being a black African resident in the US could be seen as a risk factor for premature environmental death.

Following recent developments, it is clear to the eyes of everyone that there is an element of profound racial disparity and discrimination in the USA.

I sit down on my own reflecting on these developments. But, the one thing that troubles me is the fact that when a Black American is the victim of the powerful American police force, the black Americans will take to the streets in their numbers . Thereafter, there will be relative calm.

The essence of this email is to ask ourselves this question: How many pure black African immigrants are being vandalised by the police in America ? And this inevitably goes unnoticed because we are not at all United.

I thank God for not encouraging me to go to the US even as a visitor.

May the souls of those who have died as a matter of racial abuse , disparity and discrimination rest in peace.

Amen.

Mola Fred.
