Writing Functional and Technical Report Specifications
Documenting Unit and QA Test Case
Play a significant contributing role in End User working sessions focus on the interaction with the Cognos layer
Develop Custom Cognos SDK functions to support administrative tasks and end user requirements
Qualifications:
4-5 years of software development experience in large, mission critical (preferably financial services) organization.
4-5 years of relevant Cognos experience in Financial Services and working with big data required.
Strong dimensional modeling skills required.
Working knowledge of the Cognos Entitlements framework required.
Working knowledge of the Cognos SDK preferred
Experience with Cognos Mash Up Services preferred
Experience with Cognos 10 required.
Basic Java and java scripting skills required.
Experience in performance tuning SQL required.
Ability to articulate complex data problems and solutions required.
Experience with multiple database platforms e.g. Oracle or Sybase required
Experience with OLAP technologies a plus.
Experience with Securities, Derivatives, and Collateral Management data a plus.

• Management, Sourcing & Procurement, Global Security & lnvestigations, and Global Business Resiliency. The program
• will include strategic data sourcing, data enrichment, analytical, monitoring, and reporting capabilities of which CORE (Corporate Operational Risk Eco system) is a part.
Control System Technoloqv Senior COGNOS Developer Lead:
• We are seeking a Senior Cognos Developer Lead to join the Operational Risk Technology team for the new CORE platform. This individual will be a part of the dynamic team of highly talented individuals and will be encouraged to contribute ideas, learn, design and implement.
• As a senior application developer lead, you are responsible for application design, development and unit testing of critical
• components of corporate wide, global risk management system. You will be also providing thought leadership and design/development expertise to the peers and developers in the team reporting to a senior development manager
• Key Responsibilities to include but are not limited to:
• Proven Ability to manage team in onsite/offshore model . Experience to lead the reporting effort of a large reporting system . Requires mentor and guiding work of junior developers and overseeing their day to day activities
• Excellent working knowledge of Data Warehouses r Responsible to provide weekly status and tracking for all reporting streams o Design the Logical and Physical Cognos Framework Model . • Team player exhibiting professional maturity, personal integrity and excellent interpersonal skills
• Owns issues, risks and defects, tracking them through to resolution or escalation where appropriate
• Experience of working with multiple specialist technology groups
• Experience in on-shore/offshore model required
• Strong dimensional modeling skills required.
• Working knowledge of the Cognos Entitlements framework required.
• Working knowledge of the Cognos SDK preferred
