Manuel Tester with P&C Insurance and SQL experience

Need Solid Tester candidate with Guidewire experience

Job Description:

Role: Manual Tester with SQL experience
Location: New York, NY (Onsite at Client)
Job Status: FTE Or Contractor
Mode of interview: Telephonic

Salary: Negotiable

 Must Have:

We are looking for testing candidates who are good in SQL basics and well versed with web application testing.

 

·         Experience in test cycle, test documents and its creation in typical testing phase, defect triage/remediation process, sql basics such as foreign key/primary key, types of data testing in databases.

·         Client is specifically looking for the candidate who has Rapisure, Guidewire ClaimCenter/PolicyCenter/Billing Center exposure, which means familiarity with insurance domain – policy & claim process.

·         Client is looking for junior to midlevel testing resource and around 5 years of experience would work.

·         Would be plus if candidate knows HP tools. Also, should be able to demonstrate good knowledge & hands on experience of the work per resume.

 

-          Strong QA skills

-          Strong communication skills

-          Strong manual testing skills

-          Insurance testing experience (policy side at least)

-          Strong MS Office Skills ( Excel, Word.. etc.)

-          Defect lifecycle and defect tracking experience

-          SDLC knowledge

-          Team player and quick learner

-          SQL skills to read entity diagrams and query tables to validate results

 

Nice to have:

-          HP Tools experience ALM, HP QC

-          RapidSure testing

-          PDCL  (Insurity Policy Decisions for Commercial Lines)

-          Test automation with HP UFT/ QTP

-          WebServices testing experience
