Settling in Cameroon after Diaspora .

Ladies & Gentlemen,

An overview of friends and contemporaries who have died in Cameroon following a lengthy experience in diaspora is quite alarming.

It is hard to understand why ex - diasporans ( who have returned to Cameroon ) tend to die suddenly and in huge numbers compared to individuals resident in Cameroon and conducting the same tenure of life....

Excluding the established issue of poor access to proper health care in Africa, in my view, there are many other variables to address. For example:

A) Most ex-diasporans who die suddenly are socially inexperienced and upon their return to Cameroon, they are often carried by pathological sexual tourism and excessive protagonistic tendencies.

B) Some failed to secure a plan B . Did not secure a place and leave to stay in this society in the event of poor re - adaptation back home.

So, when you go to Cameroon after years abroad, avoid jumping from one bar parlour to another. Stick to your partner. Be reminded that CONDOMS in Africa are not that robust and safe like the ones here.

Avoid excessive protagonistic tendencies. In pidgin parlance " mind ya business".

There is a way to go about this. Start by practicing the above a couple of years ahead of your return. By the time your return is due, you will be aware of your new pattern of life.

Secure a place and permit to stay in the West before you attempt a return home. Also secure a home in Cameroon before attempting relocation. Avoid family homes as this could result in bitter family disputes.

I hope you understand now.
