Title: Sr. Java Architect/Developer

Location: West Chester, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Description:

The candidate will be part of the Tech Arch/Data Grid team as backfill for an employee who has been designated for the Platform Resiliency project – "Constructions" vertical.  The Java Architect/Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and unit testing enhancements to the ESP Core Framework as well as to the in-memory Data Grid.

 

MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS

·         Java / Java EE

·         SOAP (JAX-WS) web services

·         Spring

·         Hibernate / JPA

·         Relational database development (Oracle or MySQL or SQL Server, etc.)

·         Maven

·         Subversion

·         WebLogic or Apache Tomcat

 

PREFERRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

·         Agile / Scrum methodology

·         Oracle Coherence

·         Jenkins

·         AppDynamics

·         REST (JAX-RS) web services

 

MAJOR PLUS TECHNICAL SKILLS

·         NoSQL (MongoDB or Cassandra or CouchBase or Hadoop)

·         Cloud/PaaS (Cloud Foundry or OpenShift or Open Cloud)

·         Kafka / Storm

 

PREFERRED SOFT SKILLS

·         Strong communication skills

·         "Can do" / "Will do" attitude
