The Group:
They provide Software Development and IT Consulting specifically on global manufacturing engineering. They support complex and highly engineering software used by refineries and chemical engineering plants. These applications are in-house/locally developed and some are 3rd party software. They currently have 5 to 7 niche applications in portfolio.
The Required Skills:
· 10 to 15 years of Application Packaging Expertise: will package specialized/ complex software using AdminStudio, InstallShield and Repackager almost 50% of the time
· Strong VBScript Scripting Skills: customization of packages will be done in VB scripting
· VB.NET, C#.NET, VBA and VB6: Good Coding and Debugging skills
o Actual development of customized applications will be done 30-40% of the time
o Will customize and upgrade to C# / VB.NET
o Will update, enhance and support legacy tools
o SCCM is not relevant on this position - the resource has to create a package without touching SCCM
