Role: Claims Business Analyst (Property and casualty insurance)
Location: Morristown, NJ
3 months contract to hire.
· 3-5 years of Property and casualty experience
· Document, support and analyze the claims system and procedures to support business functions of Claims Department
· Payment of current P&C claims while reserving sufficient funds to cover future payments against claims. Review policies to verify coverage.
· Maintain daily contact with brokers, clients, and underwriters to secure certificates of coverage and other necessary documentation.
· Adhered to project deadlines/schedules and utilization of resources.
· Develop and deliver informative, well-organized presentations.
· Work with application developers, business partners, management, and Data Warehouse team.
· Responsible for delivering quality data integration projects, responsible for writing and maintaining detailed business requirements and performing analysis on data/workflows.
· Analyze documentation and apply appropriate insurance codes.
· Gather requirements from the business users as well as developing system.
· Select testing deliverables, tools, and metrics for testing complex applications and new technologies, ensure projects conformed to current IT standards and overall product quality.
· Prepare schedules/documents needed for insurance policies and government reporting
