Ngia Saidou my Grang:
We are all missing the substance here. Sessekou Ebini even pushed the argument to another level saying "In his opinion, even if the story is false or exagerated, to him it is a TRUE rendition". This tells you how angry most of us are about this Unity with La Republique du Cameroun, BUT Pah Soule, this is not about ANGER or Emotions. It is a question of Public Accuracy and Accountability. It is very wrong for a so-called Journalist to present Innuendos as "Facts" while injecting his own personal bias. Brian Williams lost his job because of "Factual Inaccuracies" discovered in his Irak War and Hurricane Kathrina reporting more than ten years ago.
The onus is not on me to prove that the story is False; rather it is on the individual who brought the topic to the public to demonstrate impeccable maestro by producing the official document that "Bans the use of the English Language in Bamenda Courts".
Anglophones have always complained about the over-bearing posturing of their Francophone counterparts. That is not new. What is strange here is that, the guy claims in a bombastic and sensational headline that ENGLISH has been banned in Bamenda Courts. This is a very serious indictment which prompted me to question why Yaoundé authorities would specifically target "Bamenda Courts". Does this "Ban" include Nkambe, Tiko, Limbe, Mbengwi, Kumbo, Kumba, Buea, Mamfe or any other Anglophone region with "Courts"?
Ngia Soule; telling us that "The Story is True...because a Bamenda based Lawyer wrote to a Radio program Cameroon Calling" does not in any way exonerate Cameroon Journal newspaper from their battered image through manipulative sensational Journalism.

Hi All,
The UN Plebiscite stated in the two alternatives, "a union of two states equal in status"
This was changed by LRC. The Constitution which said the Federal Nature of Cameroon,
must never be changed, was changed.
What stops them from changing the equal status of English and French as the official languages
Do not forget, "Cameroon is Cameroon"

"What prove have you brought to say the journalist's story is a lie?"
It's a lie because Part 1 Article 1 section (3) of the State constitution says:
"The official languages of the, Republic of Cameroon shall be English and French, both languages having the same status. The State shall guarantee the promotion of bilingualism throughout the country. It shall endeavour to protect and promote national languages"

When a reporter says that there is a ban on English language in a NW court and there is in fact a ban on English language in the said regional court, then the reporter has told the truth; otherwise, the report is false. The report from the Cameroon Daily Journal regarding the purported ban placed on English in the Bamenda-based court is a lie and self promoting message from that paper and its owner. The advent of electronic journalism has not only improved the speed at which news is reported, but journalism itself suffers as a result of this important channel of communication.Someone can just sit in his house in Buea and decide to create some sensationalism to increase traffic to his online news site. This misinformation and disinformation is a threat to journalism as a profession. This sale of commercialized lies and dramatic sensationalism of falsehood for personal gain should be condemned with the contempt that it deserves.Cameroonians should watch out for this kind of yellow journalism, which is nothing but a sensationalistic and marketable fiction. While it is not bad for a journalist to distinguish himself and uplift the profile of his news channel, to do so at the expense of the truth confuses the reader and breaks all media ethics.Augustine Agbor EnowThe outcome of my life is not more than three lines:
