Position: Business System Analyst

Location : Los Angeles, CA

Duration :6+Months Contract

Start : ASAP

 

Skills :

This a standard job description for the BI/DW BSA position but not everything here is required for this role.  It will be helpful to look for these qualifications though.

1. Experience in writing requirements for Enterprise BI and/or Data Warehouse initiatives.

2. Background in data analysis, sourcing, acquisition, data quality, transformation, storage, and reporting.

3. Experience creating source to target mappings as well as data lineage

4. Hands-on experience with BI methodology and technologies.  Strong technical backend experience with QlikView (This will be nice to have.  As long as they have strong BI/DW background, we should be good)

5. Review, refine, and document requirements using appropriate graphical & textual techniques, including use cases, work-flow diagrams, process models, functional and technical specifications

6. Use rapid prototyping designs of new user interfaces to solicit feedback from end users and incorporate the final designs in to requirement documents

7. Contribute to the tactical and strategic development of our Business Intelligence including reporting and analytical platform
