Description
Description Work on all phases of client/server application and web tools related to Positive Train Control (PTC); a real-time messaging centric safety system. Developer will work as part of a team enhancing existing applications and developing new applications related to PTC. Skills All of the following skills, knowledge and experience are REQUIRED: • 5+ years of experience developing with the .Net Framework using C# in Windows Form and/or Windows Services applications, NOT ASP.NET applications • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or T-SQL with the ability to develop database objects such as stored procedures • 3+ years of experience developing multithreaded/multiprocessing applications • Solid understanding of TCP/IP socket programming. The following are desired: • Experience with ASP.NET web development • Knowledge of .Net Remoting • Knowledge of C/C++, XML, and AMQP are a plus * Knowledge tests in multitasking, TCP/IP socket programming and Windows client/server application development will be part of the selection process.
