Job Description
phone screen (1st round) and face-to-face interview (2nd round).
· Ability to interact with development teams, business owners, and various levels of management
· Experience articulating technical information to a broad non-technical audience
· Experience is supporting application teams
· 5 – 8+years' experience with Oracle, must include Oracle 11.2
· DBA experience on Unix Platforms (AIX & Linux)
· Experience in Development and Production support roles
· Oracle RAC & ASM Experience a plus
· Responsible for ensuring availability and performance of OLTP databases
· Responsible for implementation of database changes as submitted by the development team
· Experience with performance tuning and monitoring
· Ensure high availability and performance (require 24x7 on call support on a rotational basis)
· Experience working as part of a team that delivers a high availability service
· Experience in use of Oracle OEM 12C grid control
· Experience in use of Oracle DataGuard11.2
· Pro-actively monitor database systems to ensure secure services with minimum downtime
· Responsible for improvement and maintenance of the databases application supported
