Qualifications:

•             3-5+ years' experience with Bachelor's education degree level or equivalent.

Experience:

•             Designing and developing and testing applications using J2EE technologies.

•             Developing database applications using stored procedures, triggers and functions using Sybase or an equivalent database

•             1-3+ years of overall IT experience in Web user interface design and development. Strong knowledge and experience with HTML5, XHTML, DHTML, XML, XSL, advanced CSS and Java Script.

•             1-2+ years UI development experience using UI frameworks such as JQuery, ExtJS, AngularJS. (AngularJS preferred).

•             Experience using Java 6 and above , Spring Framework , MyBatis

•             Experience in design and development of SOAP and RESTful Web services

•             Good understanding on WSDL, XSD, WADL and JSON.

•             Experience in Java based BPM tools (jBPM preferred)

•             Java build tool Maven, Gradle, Ant. (Maven preferred)

•             Familiarity with testing frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, DbUnit.

Java Developer Job Duties:

•             Lead the development effort of web services, Design and develop SOAP based Web services, Develop XML schema designs

•             Clear understanding of web services and SOA related standards like REST/OAuth/JSON and SOAP/WSDL

•             Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.

•             Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.

•             Experience in Oracle 10g/11g

•             Strong experience in application development using SQL, PL/SQL Experience in performance tuning techniques Experience in development tools like SQL PLUS, TOAD Working knowledge of database modeling is plus.

•             Experience in Shell Script is a plus

Skills/Qualifications:

•             Java, Java Applets, Web Programming Skills, Teamwork, Verbal Communication, Web User Interface Design, Software Requirements, Software Development Process, Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Software Debugging, AJAX, Spring ORM Frameworks (Hibernate) , SQL & Databases (PL/SQL) , Java Message Service (JMS) , HTML, JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) Application Servers (Weblogic)

•             Clear understanding of Web services approach including Web service protocols such as SOAP and REST.

•             Comprehensive understanding of SOA concepts, principles and patterns is required.
