Most important are PL/SQL application development skills. Candidates need working knowledge of Java.
Our newest team member will be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of highly scalable software solutions, with high levels of quality and performance. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of good design principles, coding practices, and an analytical mind for approaching and solving problems logically and thoroughly. We are looking for someone who can work independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Design solutions to business requirements
• Troubleshoot and fix defects
• Perform application performance tuning
• Document designs and implementation
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Demonstrated experience designing and developing relational database-driven applications in an Oracle environment.
• Demonstrated experience tuning SQL queries and debugging PL/SQL packages
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design and practices
• Experience working on the server side of client/server, web-based applications
• Oracle PL/SQL Programming Skills, Basic JSP, HTML and Javascript skills
• Java / J2EE background in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop scalable solutions from business requirements
• Comfortable working with source code repositories
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Comfortable with the Eclipse IDE
• Experience on migrating applications between Java versions will be a plus
• Experience in Oracle Applications environments
• Exposure to Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence tools like Qlikview, OBIEE, IBM Cognos TM1, and Business Objects
