Role : Ab Initio ETL Developer

Location: Raleigh, NC

Duration: 5+ months

Interview: Phone/Skype

US Citizen or Green Card Holder only (NO H1B RESOURCES).

Basic Qualifications:
• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Ab Initio ETL tools
• Experience in Ab Initio Graphical Development Environment (GDE) developing graphs and plans.
• Deep knowledge of the Ab Initio toolsets including GDE, Data Profiler, ACE, Control Center
• 5+ years of experience implementing and supporting Ab-Initio, PL/SQL applications.
• Experience in performance tuning of Ab-initio graphs and PL/SQL packages.
• Familiarity with concepts such as Index compressed files and usage of Index compressed files, scan component experience and push down SQL operations.
• Knowledge of Teradata database, UNIX environment, UNIX shell scripts, AutoSys, SQL, and XML.
• Experience in Linux.
• Experienced in Ab Initio code troubleshooting is required.
• Strong understanding of Ab Initio EME/Version Control concepts
• Experience as a technical lead
• Advanced SQL programming and performance tuning experience
• Experience in Source Target Mapping Design and High Volume Data Loads
• BA/BS degree minimum
• Strong Communication Skills are required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Ab Initio CO?OP 3.1.7
• Familiarity with Ab Initio specific deployment steps - Release and packaging support
• Knowledge of Ab Initio branching and merging strategies
• Experience in Ab Initio EME Administration
• Strong UNIX scripting skills
• Support non-prod environments for code/batch failures
• Monitoring and creation of Critical/New job streams.
• Experience having gone through a conversion to Ab Initio from other platforms
• Experience in Data Quality, Source Systems Analysis, Business Rules Validation
• Experience or a solid understanding of data modeling highly desired
• Experience with the agile delivery methodology.
