CCNP Network Engineer with Citrix, Infoblox or Bluecoat exp::MI

CCNP Network Engineer

Location: Lansing, MI

Duration: 6 Month Contract with extensions

 

 

The Network Engineer is responsible for implementing and maintaining all company connections at a highly available, enterprise level and is involved in a mix of project work and system support. Additionally, the Engineer will be required to perform routing and switching implementation and support.

 

Desired Skills:

Cisco Wireless, Infoblox, Citrix Netscaler, and Bluecoat

 

 

 

Description:

Implements and maintains network hubs, switches, and routers on the global LAN/WAN.

Implements and maintains secure access to the Internet for users and for file transfers to vendors.

Implements VPNs as needed for remote user access and site-to-site connectivity.

Supports wireless connectivity for end users.

Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and resolves hardware, software, and other system problems.

Provides technical support to end users.

 

Job Requirements:

 

    Strong knowledge of Cisco switch and router hardware.

    In-depth knowledge of LAN switch technology (including Spanning tree, VTP, and HSRP).

    Understanding of VPN technologies, such as IPSEC and SSL.

    CCNP Certification Preferred.
