Direct Client Requirement :

Role : Cisco and Sonus Consultant

Location : San Antonio TX

Duration : 6 to 12 months

Looking for

·         Very strong Sonus experience

·         Very strong Cisco experience

Skills and Proficiencies for Sonus Telecommunications SME :

Subject Matter Expert - IP routing protocols including BGP, EIGRP, OSPF, IP Multicast, MPLS, SIP
- Implementation of Cisco Voice gateway with Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) for remote sites

- Implementation of Sonus SBC gateway
- Network capacity planning and performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Design, testing, implementation, and supporting an enterprise WLAN solution
- Configure voice services on all Cisco LAN/WAN hardware including:
- ISR Router/Voice Gateway, and LAN Catalyst switches.
- Demonstrate good judgment identifying problems in advance and proposing solutions
- Prepare and maintain up-to-date documentation for internal and external customers detailing configuration of deployed solutions

Skills/Experience:
- Bachelors degree, or equivalent in IT with a certification, such as CCNP , CCVP or preferably, CCIE
- Ideal candidate should have at least eight years experience in routing, switching and strong skills in a Cisco VoIP environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with the design, provisioning and troubleshooting of WAN connectivity technologies

- Comprehensive hands on experience with Sonus SBC Gateways

- Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies
- Comprehensive hands on experience with LAN/WLAN/WAN technologies
- Comprehensive hands on experience with Cisco ISR/ASR routers, Catalyst 65xx/49xx/3750x/2960 switches, Nexus switches, ASA 5500 security devices, Cisco Wireless Controllers, Cisco UCS servers and Riverbed WAN Acceleration appliances
- Comprehensive hands on experience with network management
- Proficiency working with access control list (ACLs), TCP/IP, VLAN, VRF, Port Security, Traffic Shaping, Priority Queuing, Class of Service (CoS) and IP routing
- Proficiency with EIGRP, OSPF, and BGP routing protocols
- Proficiency with Radius and LDAP authentication, DNS and Active Directory
- Proficiency in using Netflow/syslog and wireshark for network troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of wireless 802.11 a/b/g/n, Wireless management, VoIP, H.323,  SIP
