AMBAZONIA LIBERATION MOVEMENT [A. L. I. M] -
of the greater DC-MD-VA-DE, Mid North-East Coastal Region

Washington DC May 25 2015

PRESS RELEASE
Following the meeting of Saturday, May 23 2015 attended by enthusiastic Ambazonians, their friends and sympathizers of the Mid North-East Coastal Region of the USA; with some visiting Ambazonians from abroad in attendance; the following resolutions were adopted as evidence of FREE AMBAZONIANS in the Diaspora desire to visibly demonstrate their collective rights of self-determination.

Resolutions Adopted:
[1] The February 13, 2013 Calabar Declaration:
"The Calabar Declaration of 02-13-2013"
Acknowledging the urgent need to be unified under the protection of the sovereignty in the Republic of Ambazonia (the successor state of the long extinct "Federal United Cameroon Republic"), the Free Ambazonian people in the Hinterland of Ambazonia (British Southern Cameroons) and the Free Ambazonian people of the Bakassi Peninsular (British Southern Cameroons) have agreed to henceforth conduct the struggle to restore the independence of their country, affectionately called by its 'pre-independence' name as AMBAZONIA, under the auspices of the all-purpose, self-unifying entity of the AMBAZONIA LIBERATION MOVEMENT [A.L.I.M]

"The ALIM MISSION":
The mission of ALIM (Ambazonia Liberation Movement):TO APPLY EVERY KIND OF PRESSURE WITHIN THE BOUNDS OF INTERNATIONAL LAW, THE COMITY OF NATIONS AND THE PRINCIPLE OF SELF-PRESERVATION TO ENSURE THE RESTORATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF AMBAZONIA (British Southern Cameroons).

[2] That the Ambazonian Liberation Movement [ALIMMantra be adopted by all Ambazonians.
The MANTRA:To ensure our commitment to the cause of independence, we resolve today to adopt these "self-executing" values as our minimum effort towards reinforcing a "goal-directed", "action-oriented" as well as "self-reliant" emancipation movement,: viz:
(A)-that, I will contribute my one dollar per day to the cause;
(B)-that, I will contribute my one hour per week to the cause;
(C)-that, I will recruit one new member per month to the cause. {towards my lifetime maximum tally of three members}.

[3] Congratulating President-Elect of Nigeria, Mohammadu Buhari on his historic victory as the first ever opposition candidate to win a presidential election in Nigeria; and with the peaceful transition, ushering great hope for democracy and the rule of the law for the peoples of Nigeria as well as all peoples in this Mid West central African sub region; a region where Ambazonians currently reside under Cameroon's subjugation.

[4] Demand that Cameroon release all its prisoners of conscience as Oben Maxwell, Fon Achobang., Stephen Kongnso, Pa Jumbam and other activists now are in prison. That the World should condemn the current criminalization of thought in Cameroon which is totally inconsistent with democracy this country claims to be.
