Job Description  

• Database: Focussed in the Database Administration and SQL development activities
• Support: Support and maintenance of the existing database infrastructure in 2 instances, with one instance being global with various nodes across the globe.
• Standby: Standby, on-call and support of MySQL databases.
• Architecture: Architecture and design recommendations and implementations, in terms of future expansion.
• Documentation: Author documents as required.
• Mentoring: Mentor and coach the Engineering team through their knowledge growth and domain knowledge cycles. Mentoring also takes place by means of peer reviews and recommendations on the SQL structures used in code.
• Coding: PHP/Java/C coding skills will be advantageous, as from time to time coding is required to automate reports.
• Years of experience : 8 + years
