Re: [MTC Global] Good old days

I remember in 1963 five litres of petrol cost Rs 3.65 which makes a litre 73 paise. A driver's salary was Rs 60 a month. Now a driver's salary is about Rs 12,000/- that is it has gone up 200 times as compares to 1963. The latest petrol price in Chennai is Rs 69.12 and compared to the price in 1963 it has gone up only 94.68 or approximately 95 times. What inference can we draw from this ?
