Job Description:
Required:
Good working knowledge of different Splunk components
Experience in setting up Splunk Forwarders,
Experience in setting up complex Splunk searches
Experience in setting up complex Splunk dashboards
Experience in setting up other requirements such as notifications, scheduled searches, etc
Experience in implementing REST API Interface for Splunk searches
Need to know how to conduct Splunk searches - internal backend understanding (not just user understanding)
Good command on Linux OS and debugging Linux performance issues
Deep understanding of Splunk architecture, including deep understanding of the components as well as performance tuning
Able to write Python and Java scripts
Need to know how to administrate Splunk cluster as he will be managing the 1 TB indexing Splunk clusters
