Role: Lead SQL Server DBA
Location: San Antonio, Texas

Duration: 6+ months
Job Related Experience:
• 5+ years database analysis, programming or similar experience
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Microsoft SQL Server DBA
Skills and Abilities:
• Extensive hands-on DBA experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2008R2, 2012
• Detailed knowledge of database security structure
• In depth working knowledge of SSIS
• Base knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system
• Oversee and implement backups, clustering, replication
• Experience with backend databases supporting internet facing multi-tiered applications
• Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills
• Proven success in performance optimization for OLTP and OLAP applications
• Familiarity / willingness to learn Oracle and MYSQL databases
• Ability to work collaboratively with development teams in a highly dynamic environment
• Ability to work individually or as a member of a team to design, development, implement and maintain relational databases
• Commitment to quality work and high attention to detail
• Possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Experience running dbms in a physical and virtual environment
Minimum Education:
· B.E. or B.S. Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field; related work experience can be substituted for educational requirement
