VBA Programmer

Job Title: Excel Expert -VBA programmer
We are looking for an expert to assist us in both creating/managing large
spreadsheets and developing VBA code.
This individual will spend a third of their time meeting with business users to understand the use cases and specific business rules behind the spreadsheets and documents. They will spend another third of their time documenting the use and support of the tools created, with the last third of their time actually developing the VBA code and index/vlookup/grouping logic within the tool as well as the data access layer to the individual databases.
It would be a great help if the individual already has an understanding of the retail industry in general. Merchandising specifically will be a definite plus and preference. This knowledge will greatly increase this person's productivity and ability to be successful.
Required Skills and Abilities
A qualified candidate will possess the following
Technical Skills Skill Level -
Excel 2013 / 2010 Expert
Excel VBA/Macro's/Index/Tables Expert
PowerBI-2013 Highly Skilled
SQL Highly Skilled
General Skills Details/Examples
Power BI
We are building the initial process in Excel 2010 with the intent to utilize the PowerBI toolset. Knowing 2010, 2013 and PowerBI is a critical piece as we build out this tool set.
VLookup, Indexes and tables
Need to be very adept in managing large spreadsheets of calculations using tables and indexes to summarize and manage the category management process for Merchandising
