Detailed JD:
Sr. Infrastructure Engineer, Deployment & Automation
· Serves as primary deployment automation expert and provides coaching to junior staff
· Responsible for developing standards and best practices within the deployment technology stack
· Responsible for application packaging using packaging tools (e.g. Installshield, Wise),
· Responsible for the creation of standard images for Desktop and Server OS (Windows, Linux)
· Responsible for workflow process design and automation
· Supports the development of SOP's for the operations team, including but not limited to tasks such as server builds
· Responsible for monitoring process design and implementation
· Provides deployment automation support as needed
· Works on projects as assigned
· Supports the development of infrastructure services strategy and design
Primary
· 8+ years of relevant experience
· Experience with Automation/Orchestration, including the ability to streamline processes and procedures and implement workflow automation (e.g. server build process, batch installations, job scheduling, self service)
· Solid understanding of and experience with:
o Microsoft System Center 2007 and 20012
o MS SCOM
o MS SCCM
o Virtualization technologies (VMware)
o Application virtualization
· Solid understanding of and experience with monitoring best practices for servers and services, including implementation
· Strong analytical and problem solving skills
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal
· Required Certifications: IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL Foundations v3)

· Relevant Certifications: ITIL Intermediate v3 – Service Transition, IT Planning Protection and Optimization, Release Control and Validation, Service Operation, Operational Support and Analysis, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE Server, MCSE Messaging), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA Certification, EMC Storage Administrator
(EMCSA), EMC Storage Implementation Engineer (EMCIE), HP ASE Storage Solutions Architect, Cisco Certified Network Professional - Data Center (CCNP - Data Center)
