Here is the job description for the role we briefly discussed.  I would be happy to share the rate/client information if you've got someone you'd like me to consider for the position.

 

SR. PL/SQL + TSQL DEVELOPER 
This senior developer resource with 5+ years of experience will work with the application development team to port Oracle packages, functions, and procedures to SQL Server 2012 TSQL, and aid in the conversion of other objects to SQL Server 2012. Devise best practices so that code changes are consistent and well tested. 

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Experience with Oracle-to-SQL Server data extract, transformation, and load (ETL) techniques. 
• Oracle's SQL Developer application experience helpful. 
• Proven and recent Oracle-to-SQL Server migration experience. 
• SQL Server Management Studio experience as well as SSMA and SSIS experience. 
• Provide SQL knowledge transfer to Oracle resources as required 
• Write technical documentation as needed. 

SKILLS 
• Communication skills. 
• Problem solving skills. 
• Experience working in an Agile environment 
• Ability to work in a team environment. 
• Possesses strong product/technology/industry knowledge. 
• Troubleshooting skills. 
• Ability to influence others to achieve results. 
• Strong technical aptitude. 

Education: Bachelors (Tech) or equivalent 
Experience Required: 5-7 years
