JAVA UI Developer (with JQuery or ExtJS)

NYC, NY

12 Months Contracting

ONSITE interviews - Locals Only

MUST have financial experience.

The candidate will lead the UI development on a major new system enhancement of an existing internal system.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in web User Interface design and development using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

• Substantial work experience using JS packages such as jQuery or ExtJS

• 3+ years of Java/J2EE development experience

• 3+ Year of Database technologies: Oracle

• 2+ year experience with the Spring framework

• 2+ year experience with Hibernate

• Expert in web standards and cross-browser/cross-platform issues

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to web development using Java technologies is a plus

• Understanding of financial markets and asset classes like Fixed Income, Index/Benchmarks
