Title: C++ Programmer
Duration: 03+ Months Contract
Location: Methuen, MA
Job Description:
· Works with moderate work direction, and can identify issues/problems but may need assistance in resolving.
· Plans, designs, develops, codes and tests software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products.
Responsibilities:
· Revises and refines systems as required.
· Participates in the devising of project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, documentation.
· Involved in testing and ongoing support of business systems.
· Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation.
· Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications.
Detailed Description:
· The work maintains and enhances software used by Client customers with their touch screen products.
· The candidate will be given assignments that include debugging and refactoring of existing code and creating extensions to those programs.
Relevant Technologies:
• 2 years of C/C++ experience is required.
• Development on Windows or Linux platforms is required.
• Experience with USB or serial communications is desired.
Necessary Skills/Experiences:
Candidates must demonstrate experience with the following:
• Addressing issues in published C/C++ programs
• Communicating with operating system drivers, either directly or through libraries
• Software development environments and source control systems
