Role: HP STORESERV (3PAR) STORAGE SME

Location: Stamford, CT

Duration: 5 months

Rate: OPEN

 

REQUIRED SKILLSET:

 

Subject Matter Expert on HP StoreServ (3PAR) storage

•Adaptive Optimization

•Dynamic Optimization

•Remote Copy

•Design and Implementation storage per HP best practice.

•System Reporter

•Create and Maintain tracking documentation for entire 3PAR

•Provide HP best practices and templates for environment operations.

•Configure new storage

•SAN Fabric connectivity for 3PAR 7440 best practices.

•Provide User Training

•Create and Maintain tracking documentation for backup environment

 

RESOURCE TASKS:

 

Initial setup of the 3PAR storage arrays following completion of HP standard SKU-based installation and setup services.

•Establishing the Management council product and aid in it maintenance as needed

•Establishing best practices for fiber connectivity and associated zoning

•Provisioning storage from the 3PARs to servers as needed

•Testing of feature set to include: Remote Copy, V V, Oracle module, VMware Module, De-duplication, Peer Motion

•Migration of luns as necessary from VMAX to 3PAR using Online Import product

•Daily health and performance checks.

•Provide input to operational guides, (Consultants will not be responsible for the guides. Ericsson will retain ownership, but will solicit input around best practices for day to day management and monitoring.)
