Dear Sir, The job of the faculty is to learn-teach-share. I do not think that a dedicated
professor ought to do anything other than pursue and dispense knowledge; train and impart
skills. A person doing anything additional ceases to be a teacher. It is true that there
are occupational hazards, but these are in any profession. Being and becoming the best in
the profession is a high purpose; why dilute this purpose and run after other kinds of
work not connected at all with the academic pursuit.
The academic profession in itself is a full time occupation.

subjects at pg level. Infrastructure zero. He is expected to do bring his own laptop. Buy
his own books as all books are not bought by college, pay huge registration fees to
conference fdp research paper and to research guides too from own pockets, adjust class
before taking a leave, absence of research work leave, Do some clerical job too like exam
form filling, proctorship, exam duty, question paper answering, do online attendance
entry in outdated software, no proper salary scales only with consolidated pay,no
motivation, recognition, compensation. Pleasing boss by saying yes sir to everything.End
if it he becomes entrepreneur only by leaving teaching 😊
