Re: [MTC Global] Introduction of Certain Trades at 7th Grade in Schools.

exactly. well said. school and college students need lot of practical orientation. But very few schools follow this method.  school and college management must be in a position to recognise the interest of every individual and must  train according to that. Let me quote one example there is a school at hyderabad.
Based on the complaint given by the librarian on some 6th class students for stealing books from library, concerned parents were called by the principal and those students were honoured by school authorities. Principal said that " I am proud of my students regarding their interest in reading books'. I have such a students in my school who has interest in reading books and books were stolen for that purpose. we are ready to bear loss occur for such an  act.
All  my tensions have been released because being a parent of one of such student, I have my own worries regarding such stealing habit of my son and such attitude ,  moreover principals view relating to such students. all the parents were expecting punishments to be levied on such students but in school the entire scene has been changed. In lieu of punishments students were honoured . And a few from such  students in 8th standard were honoured with "young scientist award" by Government of India and a few were invited by NASA for designing model of space ship. We have such a great schools and teachers who encourage students and polish their talent in various ways.

Thanks and regards

Subject: [MTC Global] Introduction of Certain Trades at 7th Grade in Schools.

Dear All,
Though this is MTC, I am airing my views of introducing certain trades at School level to make our children more independent.
I am of the view that if Trades like Carpentry, Plumbing and Electrification are introduced at 7th Standard in schools to teach the basics of the above and empower the students with practical training to enable them to attend to minor works at Home they would become more independent, confident and self reliant.
Please Express your considered views on the above.
