Re: [MTC Global] [Weekend Hot Debate-I] Education Privacy

Yes, in the era of B2B, all the business are connected to each other one way or other. this connection goes sharing even personal / private data of one's clients to the other for the sake of just business and thus arising at a lucrative profit out of the transaction. Wherever the data collected by one has not been used, gets exchanged at the cost of business and gets spread to varied levels.

The option knows as "cookies" in IT is the major spying technology with which the B2B units are tend to get / share data from one corner to the other. Unfortunately, we do not have adequate laws to curb such business practices, especially the resultant cyber crimes. The problem is not about "Who should voice? and How to voice?", but about "Whom to complaint?".

The biggest challenge today is Education Privacy. The database of students appearing for various competitive exams are sold at hefty prices. Some examination bodies which conduct MAT and other exams also sell officially database of students. Faculty database are sold. There are companies which are doing business only in this domain.

Do you think that there should an Education Privacy Policy to deter such practices?
