Long term contractor (18 months)

FACE 2 FACE
Required Skills:
Hands on experience using and optimizing the Hadoop standard toolkit (Pig, Sqoop, Oozie, etc)
Hands on Java MapReduce experience
Java (5+ years - You know your Java Collections, have familiarity with common libraries, and are comfortable whiteboarding problems in an interview setting)
Oracle / SQL / JDBC (Intermediate level - You know your joins, data types, and have written production java code which inserts/selects from a SQL database.)
Linux Tools (Intermediate level - you know your sed from your awk, but maybe you occasionally need to check the man page)
Shell scripting
Experience developing and delivering in an Agile environment
Nice-to-haves:
Hands on experience with Cloudera CDH 4/5
Proven experience practively driving projects forward, from gathering requirements all the way to delivering quality software.
Experience solving "BigData" scale problems - billions of rows and hundreds of terabytes woth of data does not scare you!
Experience with large data/file transfers
Experience designing workflows that automate data processing
Experience working with Healthcare data
