Dr.Sangeeta Srivastava ....well said.....In most of the cases, parents themselves are responsible for growing commercialization of value system and increased rowdyism right from the age of 8th standard itself....
.... In Hyderabad, in less than four months, two horrible incidents occurred .... In one incident an 8th standard pupil killed his colleague on the plea that he did n't give his note book..... Last week, an SSC student killed his colleague on the plea that he objected to teasing his sister in the same school....... both of them were sent to child prisons....
.... for this, mostly parents are responsible and teachers are also responsible to some extent.... parents are considering rowdyism as a synonym for heroism.....
.... similarly, parents are advising their children to think of their exclusive wellbeing only........ultimately, the children are taking care of their well being only leaving even their parents and grand parents to live in the most miserable conditions, particularly, during their fag end of life....some of them are dying virtually as a kind of street dogs and cats.....
.....let both the parents and teachers move hand in hand to develop a kind of responsive society and responsible society......

Yes I am very much agree with it because education is not a process to produce the product to sell in market. It is a process to develop human being for society that need value behavior and knowledge and responsibility towards society Nation and environment that will only possible with deep dedication and devotion. It is the responsibility of Parents who are first teacher of their ward, and the other is education centers, their prime objective is to only nurture the future of society.
Current worst society picture is only due to commercialization of parenting and Institutions.

--New Delhi: The biggest drawback for any education system is commercialisation and it is one such sector which should not be turned into business as it gives platform for many irregular practices, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said here on Sunday."There are certain indicators in the society which tell that commercialisation is creeping in the education system. It is biggest drawback for any education system. Education is one such sector which should not be turned into a business as the profit motive often gives platform for many Irregularities," he said. The Chief Minister was addressing a gathering of teachers during an award ceremony for Delhi Government school teachers on the occasion of Teachers' Day."We often get complaints about fee hike in private schools, demand for donations for admissions, irregularities in nursery admissions.... While we are trying to improve the standard of education in public schools, we are seeking suggestions about how these complaints can be tackled and the profit motive can be kept away from the sector," he said."Our biggest focus is on human resource development, roads can be built later. While allocation of a major share of the budget to education sector wasn't much of a challenge for the government, its implementation is," he added.Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said the Delhi Government is exploring big reforms in the education system and education should not merely offer degrees but dignity too."We are exploring big reforms in the education sector. Few indicators of it include allocation of 25 per cent budget to education, conversion of 54 government aided schools into pilot schools where the atmosphere is more lively and appropriate for learning... Certain experiments are being done in this regard," he said."But these are just indicators and not achievements... there are challenges but are being worked out," he added.Delhi Government had yesterday announced reduction of 25 per cent in syllabus for upto class VIII from October onwards to accommodate more skill based courses and extra-curricular activities."We are also coordinating with CBSE to see how a similar reduction can be worked out in syllabus for classes 9 to 12," Sisodia said.--[Source :Zee News]EDUCATE, EMPOWER, ELEVATEProf. Bholanath DuttaVisionary Edupreneur, Founder & PresidentMTC Global: An Apex Global AdvisoryBody in Management EducationCell: +91 96323 18178 / +91 81520 60465 / +91 7411716392
