Your Mail Justifying Relaunch of SCAPO Political Party

Your mail was received with thanks.

 

Just before you convened the general meeting at which you revived the Political Party, I had written to you saying that you should go ahead and consult and be consu;ted on all matters concerning SCAPO. This was because I recognise that there is talent at home where action is needed on the ground. SCAPO Party is nothing new because we had announced it years ago as the first Political Party in Southern Cameroons..

 

Do I agree with the decision? Let us examine a few facts: The Southern Cameroons has been under foreign occupation for more than half a century. No Southern Cameroonian is allowed to tell his country people that occupation is evil. They will be punished severely. That is why people like Fon Dinka is away on exile; that is why Ngwang Gumne is away on exile. There are many others who are watched hourly to hear what comes out of their mouths.

If we must get permission from the occupier before talking to our people, it will be the best thing to do rather than never talking to your own compatriots. For that reason, I agree with the decision of my group back home. We will be able to preach to Southern Cameroonians at home under the nose of the ocupier.SCAPO has no part in Cameroun affairs.

 

To those who think that the Yaounde regime will bribe SCAPO to go against it-and some believe, certainly, these people need to be examined by Psychiatrists. This must not deter SCAPO. SCAPO has gone through thick and thin: Abuja to Banjul. The results are there for all to see. We expect all well-meaning Southern Cameroonians to join and push forward-not anything else.For those wh do not know, Ngwang Gumne is beyond purchase. Doubting "thomases" can go home and find out.

What is left now, is for the home front to cover the entire territory of the SouthernCameroons and inform citizens of Abuja and Banjul, and call for action.It is the duty of the other movements to come together, determine strategies and action, and make what changes they may consider useful, and move on. I am referring to Ambazonia, SCNC,and the rest. Let us become one and work together.

 

SCAPO home front, you have a greater task ahad of you now. Please, involve everyone in the action. No qurrellng!
