Akoson: Biya will appoint a PM from SW region after this ----Re: What If Biya Appointed Fru Ndi, and All Other ‘Opposants’?

Dear Raymond

Biya is an astute political thinker and player of our time. He has mastered  the art very well to his own selfish advantage to the point where I don't even bother when he is toying with many of you who are always waiting to drink from the cup of his next political move. I have read and studied Biya like a book. He wants to appoint a SW person as the next PM .So, what does  he do , he gives two positions to NW region in order to compensate SW region with PM ,which will make people like you with a narrow mind to be happy. I know when I leak his tricks, he is always forced to recoil but that is what is in cooking .

In 2009 you would call me from China to praise me  for standing up to the CPDM regime. I know many of you who said all these wonderful things about me but it was long most of  you defected from the path of God and began to play to the gallery. You left China and joined Mr. Paul Ayah ,which is your right, I guess! I watched you flirt here and there politically  . At first you were with me, then you jumped over to Chris Fomunyoh, back to SCNC and then to PAP ! So, you are back with another juju face. Raymond unmask yourself and stop thinking  that your scary juju you have created together with PAP and CPDM is going to scare us. I have not changed  my position about where I stand on Cameroon. Paul Biya does not speak for me. He can appoint all people from the same  tribe or region and fill up his cabinet with but in a modern time like this, we ought to be very sensitive to the geopolitical reality of every nation.Fru Ndi is not from my tribe and I feel that he is OBSTRUCTING DEVELOPMENT IN BAMENDA where I come from because his stupid SDF PMs and Counselors who have no political meat except misleading the people. I do not agree with Boh Hebert and others that one man should hold a political party hostage like Fru Ndi for more than 20 years today. It is ridiculous and absurd. However, the way to go about solving these problems is not to compromise like many of you have done ! When Pa Muna was in Parliamwent he flew in a helicopter to his home at Nghen-Mbo. When he had no private jet , he drove inside his black Mercedes and passed through Alabukam village on bad roads. For years I grew up and saw electricity supplied to his village and district using  Alabukam land and airspace as a passage ! The greed of Pa Muna and his children is something  that I have never seen in Cameroon.I mean we are neighbors with Nghen-Mbo but there is nothing one item that Pa Muna did for us based on his position of power and influence. He preferred to fly in private jets than develop the Bamenda-Mbengwi because it would pass through Alabukam village. In fact if I know for a fact that someone from the SW region would be an objective person to serve both the common interest of Meta and Mankon, why would I support people who are selfish and tribalistic, Akoson? You guys should stop this politics of nonsense and try to grow up. You are angry because many of you still look up to Biya! Look at how when the man coughs many of you are foaming with anger! This Biya has taken a huge toll on many you psychologically and otherwise. You are a young man and can think better. You sound like someone who will send motion of support to Biya if he appoints a SW person as PM , and that is what he is going to do, which explains his appointment of Minister from one region. Will you start understading how  Biya plays over your intelligence?

You people should relax and stop running away from the elephant in the house. I will support anyone who is objective and have the heart of God to move Cameroon forward including myself. Be mindful of your foul cries because you don't know that SDF and Fru Ndi have BLOCKED DEVELOPMENT IN BAMENDA because they lack political wisdom and the power to govern. What is the need to have the presence of a SDF when it is ineffective ? Many Cameroonians flogged to SDF thinking that they would delivered but after they realized that Fru Ndi was a crook and even worst than Biya,  he was abandoned.

Mr. Akoson you ran for Parliament on your freewill and what if you won? So, why are you always trying to inject regional divide into something that we  have no control over? Only Biya knows what he is doing and you should not think that just because he does it means everyone is pleased with his actions. Many of  us don't want to live in a country where there is regional hatred and prejudice. We desire a country of national unity, regional balance and territorial integrity . Don' t be moved by the actions of a dictator because if I am the one I won't be playing such games. Cameroon is a nation of many tribes and regions. However, appointments of Ministers which is the prerogative of the President and Prime Minister working together should be based on merits . However, regional balance should also be factored into the decision making process because in every region we have more than enough qualified entities for every single ministry. It is important that you understand that I do not subscribe to the politics of Biya, which you have subscribed to and got disappointed.

Thanks

Debate is open?

Almost EVERY ONE on the list is BAMENDROUS (aka Mishe Fon)!
That's why some of us are very careful about this independence thing! Shegeh!

Looking at October 2 Cabinet shakeup, the general observation is that the same Ministers have been serving in same or similar capacity since Mr Biya took over power in 1982.

We know also that since that advent of multiparty politics in Cameroon, there are political party leaders who have been clamouring to succeed President Paul Biya through the ballot box but in vain.

But for Belo Bouba Maigara of the UNDP (current Minister of Tourism and Leisure) and Dakole Daissala (one time Minister of Transport) who had declared themselves as being of the 'Presidential Majority' whatever that means….there are other opposition party leaders/or considered such.
In addition to 'opposants' there are other Cameroonians at home and abroad who can bring in new blood and ideas to the government which is already running short of energy and focus, who could be appointed.
In that way, Cameroonians would have been able to appreciate the contribution and criticism of 'opposants' to the regime through their being in office. And it would have also given a chance to others to contribute to build our country and not a 'selected' few who have been there and the country is continuously sinking...

I think the President would have or should appoint the following persons and personalities:
Prime Minister: Ni John Fru Ndi
Minister of Justice: Barrister Nico Halle
Minister of Territorial Administration- Dr Christopher Fomunyoh
Minister of Higher Education- Prof Patrice Nganang
Minister of External Relations- Patrice Nouma
Minister of Transport- Ekane Anicet
Minister of Women's Empowerment and Family- Edith Kah walla
Minister of Econ, Planning and Regional Development-Hon Jean Michel Nintcheu
Chairman National Commission for Human Rights and Freedoms- Madeline Afite
Ministry of Culture- Bonaventure Tchucham
Minister of Industries Mines and Technological Development-Jean Jacques Ekindi-
Minister Delegate in-Charge of Penitentiary Administration: Paul Eric Kingue
Minister of Environment and Nature Protection-Peirre Fritz Ngoh
Ministry of Scientific Research and Innovation – Prof Elisabeth Tamanjong-
Minister of Public Service and Administrative Reforms- Tar Nfar Lucas Fon
Ministry of Tourism and Leisure… Chief Mila Assoute
Ministry of Public Health - Vincent Sosthene Fouda
Minister of Communication- Boh Herbert
Minister of Post and Telecommunication- Pah Kenneth Fru Ndeh

Observe that I left out Ministries of Finance and Defense, prerogatives to the President, in a way that he would not say they would steal money or take power by force. Since he has never given Cameroonians the chance to choose those to govern them.

It would have been better for them to be appointed and then they turn down the offer than for Cameroonians to be hearing of the same names for almost four decades now.

In this way Mr Biya would be able to say 'I appointed them and see what they did…' . He would also have an opportunity to maybe jail some of his 'opposants' whom would attempt to steal.

NB: This is fiction and just the thought of a Cameroonian and should not be taken for real. You can appoint whosoever you want!

The debate is open...
