Position: TIBCO Project Manager
Location : Los Angeles, CA 
Duration :6+ Months

Job Description
  • Manager will be responsible and accountable for delivery of project/s controlled by him/her, ensuring the quality of the delivery within the agreed timelines. This responsibility includes managing day-to-day project escalations, planning for projects, risk mitigation and managing the scope of the project. 
 
Role Definition and Responsibilities: 
  • One-point contact for the customer from IGATE side in handling all the TIBCO projects which are executed in offshore-onshore model. 
  • Developing project plans and ensuring risks are mitigated effectively to ensure quality and timely delivery of the project Interfacing with business delivery team (Client and Internal) with respect to project delivery and ensuring the agreed requirements are adequately factored in all projects on an on-going basis Planning project work and determining critical path items and ensuring these are always on track Estimating resource needs and coordinating with other functions Coordinating with development leads, Business Change Manager, Customer manager to ensure smooth delivery
  • Responsible for quality of the release Responsible for development of team members by review, feedback and coaching To coordinate and plan with third party vendors to meet project requirements 
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field required, Advanced Degree preferred 10+ years of Project Management experience Project management expertise in handling TIBCO projects ? ability to plan tasks/activities; ability to review progress and make corrective changes; ability to prioritize Strong general management skills 
  • Ability to work well with a wide range of people, motivate them and provide constructive feedback Communication skills for internal meetings and business presentations Able to lead diverse teams, multi-task, and work under pressure to meet aggressive schedule targets 
  • Able to develop and maintain project plans, issues logs, status reports, project roadmap, communication plan, and financial reports Good understanding of various methodologies (e.g.; RUP, Agile, Waterfall, Scrum) 
  • Expertise around Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Superior verbal and written communication skills, with experience working directly with business as well as technical stakeholders.
