Role                       : QA Test Lead

Location               : NYC

Start Date            : ASAP

Duration              : Long Term

 

Core skills and Functional Testing Skill Set - Mandatory

 

·         Extensive experience in Software Testing and Expertise in all phases of  SDLC /STLC

·         Expertise in Defect Tracking and Management using tools like Bugzilla, QC, TeamTRACKER, etc…

·         Hold technical skills in understanding the requirement and developing manual test scenarios and test cases

·         Knowledge in Test Setup and Build Deployment in the required setup

·         Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

·         Should be worked in Banking or Insurance Domain

·         Proficient in various types of testing like Black Box, Functional, Integration, Regression, System Testing

·         Experience in Defect Metrics

·         Awareness of Testing tools like QC, QTP, Test Complete, Open STA, etc

·         Awareness of configuration tools like TFS, VSS, CSV, etc.. (optional)

·         Experience in sending Daily Status Report and Weekly Status Report of the project on a regular basis

·         Should Have Good Communication , Team Player, Leadership ability skills

·         Experience in Client Interaction

 

DB Testing and Programming Skill Set – Mandatory

·         Good Knowledge in SQL from any one of the DB like Oracle/SQL Server

·         Thorough knowledge in working on SSIS packages

·         Should be at an Expert level in writing select queries (PL/SQL, T-SQL) for pulling data from DB-MSSQL/Oracle

·         Should have thorough and understanding on a programming languages -

·         Intermediate level experience in Unix-Navigation/Commands

·         Communication skill-Able to communicate with business users one on one with minimal or no help from onshore managers.

·         Change management and version management tools
