If SWOT analysis is made and published the concerned institution or the rival institution can challenge any wrong data and the same can be corrected. This will help students to rate an institution on areas of his/her interest e.g. infrastructure, library, student/teacher ratio, permanent faculty and visiting faculty ratio, non-academic events, interface with industry, specialization in any particular subject, Research work, placement results etc. etc.

MHRD announced its National Institutional Ranking Framework on 29th September 2015 for ranking Engineering & MBA Institutions in India, which would be released before the next academic year before the admission to the said course.
