Sad day indeed for all of us. It is more tragic since he just buried his son a few weeks ago.
I never knew Dr Ngumne personally but he will always send me a private mail when I got
myself entangled in unnecessary stupid, time wasting endless feuds. He would always say "Mishe, lef dat plaba. You dignify them by sending a response. Just let it go and it would die down on its own." Sometimes, I would obey and back off but most often (and to my detriment), I would continue the "Fight" only to ask myself at the end "Why did I not accept Pa Dr. Ngumne's advice in the first place". Now he is no more. I will personally miss your objectivity and sound counseling. You were a good person.

I have had no internet connexion this morning, but it came back a little while ago when a friend called me on Skype from Austria. On trying to get online myself, I was devastated by the news of Ngwang Gumne's untimely transition.
We have lost a great Southern Cameroonian leader, whose efforts for the emancipation of our fatherland will live long after his burial.
