Title: F5 Systems Engineer

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Hartford, CT

Interview Mode: In-person interview

Responsibilities Include:

·         Support

·         Administration of the Enterprise and HHS F5 environments.

·         Implementation of vendor provided load balancing & iRule requests.

·         Problem analysis and resolution working with the vendor, Application Hosting, Networking, Security, Application Support.

·         Monitoring of the Enterprise and HHS F5 environments.

·         Performance analysis of the Enterprise and HHS F5 environments.

·         Change management processes

·         Documentation

·         Maintain Load Balance Template

·         Maintain F5 support procedures

·         In-depth knowledge and experience with Administration for Viprions (C2400) and 4200Vs

·         In-depth knowledge and experience with load balance rules

·         In-depth knowledge and experience with iRules

·         In-depth knowledge and experience with vCMP

·         Experience with F5 Routing

·         Experience with F5 Application Security Manager (ASM)

·         Plus experience with F5 Access Policy Manager (APM)

·         Plus experience with F5 Max SSL

·         Plus experience with F5 Max Compression

·         Plus experience with F5 DNS

·         Plus experience with F5 DNSSEC

·         Plus - experience with Application Acceleration Manager (AAM)

·         Plus experience with Advanced Firewall Manager (AFM)

·         Plus experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN)

·         Plus experience with F5 Global Traffic Manager 2000 (GTM)
