Position:- Embedded Security Consultant

Location:- Farmington Hill, MI

Duration:- 6+ Months

MOI:- Telephonic + Skype

 

Basic Qualifications:

·         Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or IT from an ABET accredited institution, or ABET equivalent, other undergraduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant expertise may be considered (for example: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information System, etc.)

·         Minimum of 6 years of total technical work experience

·         4 years of total direct experience with embedded systems security, server security, communications security, network security and cryptography

·         Knowledge of embedded systems, wireless communications and communications protocols such as Wi-Fi, CDMA, GSM, LTE, TCP/IP.

·         Experience in communications security, network security, cryptography, PKI, vulnerability analysis, threat modeling, risk assessment, authentication, encryption, digital signature, SSL/TLS, RSA, SHA, penetration testing, fuzz testing

·         Working knowledge of internet security best practices for Service Delivery Platforms, applying to both machine-to-machine, server-to-server and server-to-vehicle interfaces

·         Demonstrated potential to direct, teach, lead and inspire

·         Highly effective at communicating technical issues - both verbally and written

·         Demonstrated depth and breadth of knowledge in an area of expertise that can be applied directly to the company's needs, now and in the foreseeable future

·         Highly effective experienced based or analytical problem solving ability, along with ability for data manipulation and synthesis

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Master's degree or Ph.D. in Engineering or IT from an ABET accredited institution, or ABET equivalent, other undergraduate level technical degrees in the specific area of relevant expertise may be considered (for example: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Management Information System, etc.)

·         Knowledge of embedded systems, wireless communications and communications protocols such as Bluetooth, NFC, Ethernet, CAN

·         Strong background in embedded real-time operating systems security, including QNX and embedded Linux, software security, hardware security

·         5 or more years direct experience with embedded systems security, communications security, network security, and cryptography

·         Strong background in embedded real-time operating systems security, including QNX and embedded Linux, software security, hardware security

·         Design for Six Sigma Black Belt certification Reactive Black Belt certification Ability to train and coach technical specialists and engineers
