Network Security Analyst

Consultants with heavy financial domain experience highly preferred.

 

Summary:

 

Perform a full range of complex system and/or software designs encompassing multiple security technologies. Responsibilities include monitoring LAN and WAN connections for traffic patterns and volumes, maintaining and developing a secure environment; prepare technical proposals for adding new technologies designed to secure the environment and participate in implementation; utilize complex analysis tools to identify / prevent and correct security breaches and is the technical resource for all matters related to Network / device Security.  The analyst is responsible for managing risks related to information security as well as network and device security.

 

Requirements:

 

• Should be knowledgeable in network security, information assurance, IDS, Forensics examinations and investigation procedures.
• Must have experience with Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP), WireShark, N-Stalker, Prevoty
• Must have experience with Forensic Tool Kit, EnCase, ProDiscover, hex editor software and registry viewer software
• Should be able to work with several different operating systems including Windows, Mac OSX and Linux
• Installation and Configuration of tools such as IBM AppScan, Fortify, Veracode, Coverity, Prevoty, Webgoat
• Strong exposure to secure coding skills with emphasis on SQL and stored procedures.
• Excellent communication skills
