True.

A few points:
  1. Dignity of labour needs to be maintained, preserved and promoted.
  2. In foreign advanced countries Indians take any type of  job including waiter becuase of several reasons, payments are good, foreign environment, mainly facilities are attractive, proud to be in that country, etc.
  3. For doing PhD or graduation in BE/B Tech or MBA, the investment in education is comparatively high. Then, what is about ROI?
  4. Will the mind of a highly qualified personnel be contended while perfoming a peon's job?

Dear Sir,

if you compare with Indians, who are working in America, they are doing even very odd jobs,
they even don';t compare which job they are doing,For any body job &money is important.
Universities gives only degree&knowledge, after that it is individual who think about there jobs.
In India the dignity of labor is very less compare to other countries.
If sufficient jobs relevant to the qualification is not there ,then they have to choose according to the will and wish,
In my opinion ,it is not the question of qualification,it is the question of bread and butter.

There are some more note worthy facets of the issue:

  1. What is the size of the youth population both in rural-urban areas  that are even not qualified for the post of peons? It is certainly more than the qualified ones.  Who will think about them?
  2. Unplanned and haphazard massive expansion of Higher Education have churned out lakhs of graduates.
  3. Where are the jobs for such a large number of graduates turned out?  Even, in mid-60s also jobs were not easily available though then the umber of graduates was limited. Today India though has achieved expansion (but not adequate) in public,  industry and services sectors, job-addition is limited, saturated and totally unable to accommodate the explosive number of graduates.
  4. Are these graduates really unemployable? Can not they be upgraded by doing some finishing work say of 6 months? If after finishing they are found to be employable, where are the jobs?  Can we match the job vacancies and make them employable giving them proper training?
  5. Academic institutes and stalwarts need to change the mind-set of youth and parents that to go for some enterprising calling rather than simply running after the jobs and remain unemployed during the prime time of life. This must be reflected in National policy prominently  by such means as establishment of Skill Centres in lakhs (small country like Japan has many folds such centres that of India, China is far far ahead), turn schools and colleges as Skill developing centres, financial and marketing provisions, incubation, parks, etc.

All these applicants are unemployable or are unaware of opportunities.Ph.D holders are certainly unemloyable indicating their quality of Ph.D.

Dear Professors,                                                 l like to draw attention on.....
As per October national Newspapers and TV..... In UP for 368 peons posts of 5th std qualification...applicants are 255 PhDs, 10000 MBAs, + BTechs + MTechs+ MCAs= 2 lakhs. These are all genuine degrees from AICTE approved Universities. None from fake Universities. Why such poor condition. Is not credibility is lost. Can you please throw some light.
