Position: Sr. Oracle PL/SQL Developer
Location: Boston MA( USC/GC/H1B )
Duration : 3-6+ Months
Start: ASAP
Locals highly preferred.
Database development experience with Oracle RDBMS. Experience in delivering enterprise grade solutions, including transactional and analytical systems for large volumes of data.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Responsible for understanding business problems and proposing the most fitting technological solutions in Oracle database technology like Oracle 11g and 12c.
· In depth expertise in database technologies, programming, and system analysis and design with focus on Data Modeling, Database migration, Database design and development
· Hands on Database Security, Performance and Scalability
· Superior communications skills and a keen sense of technology decisions
· Well versed in the technologies, architectures and implementation issues at the OLTP database layer
· Knowledge of standards for physical and logical database schema/table design and programming
· Evaluate and recommend enhancements in order to increase application efficiency, capacity and responsiveness to users.
· Verify enhancements achieve the results requested by the end user or guide the requestor to automated robust alternatives.
· Ensure maximum design efficiency and functionality in the creation and layout of systems and database objects.
Required Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field
· 5-10 years of database development experience
· Experience with Oracle 11g or 12c
· Source control experience such as Team Foundation Server or Visual SourceSafe
· Experience planning, designing, and building databases
· Strong written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent documentation and organizational skills
