>Able to performe database health checks and tune the databases using Teradata Manager, Administrator, TSET, Visual Explain, arcmain, TASM, SQL Assistant and Unix Shell (Korn) scripting.
>Able to instal patch sets and upgrade Teradata.
>Able to use Teradata Administrator and Teradata Manager Tools
>Able to load data from various data sources and legacy systems into Teradata production and development enviornment and warehouse using BTEQ, FASTEXPORT, MULTI LOAD, FASTLOAD and Informatica.
>Experinced in the Teradata cost based query optimizer
>Able to identify potential bottlenecks with queries from the aspects of query writing, skewed redistributions, join order, optimizer statistics, physical design considerations (PI and USI and NUSI and JI etc).
>Expert in WINDDI/Teradata Administrator for managing databases, user tables, indexes, statistics, managing permissions, Roles, and addressing the user issues.
