Position: BSA(Business Systems Analyst)
Location: Pleasanton, CA
Duration: 6+ months contract
Rate: $40/hr c2c max
Job Title BSA(Business Systems Analyst)
Relevant Experience
(in Yrs) • Solution oriented Business Systems Analyst with 6+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Software Validation and Business Process Re-Engineering with proven ability to articulate business values.
• Experience involving Business Process Re-Engineering, Software Re-Engineering using Agile/Scrum, Waterfall methodologies and Continuous Improvement techniques.
• Successful and Progressive record of hands-on experience in Managing, Evaluating and Defining Requirements.
Technical/Functional Skills
• Strong Analytical Skills including knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), having thorough understanding of various phases like Gap/Discovery Analysis, Requirements Elicitation, Design, Development, System Testing and Production Support.
• Experience in designing business models using UML Diagrams such as Use Case Model, Activity Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams and Collaboration Diagrams in Rational Rose and MS Visio.
• Experience in developing and reviewing Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) and Testing Plan Management Documents.
• Experience in creating Use Cases, User Stories, Process Flow Diagrams, Flowcharts and Screen mockups / Wireframes.
Experience Required 6-12 Years
Roles & Responsibilities
• Gather business requirements through interviews, discussions, brainstorming and Prototyping.
• Perform GAP analysis to compare the existing system with the proposed system and documented new requirements and features.
• Develop functional and non-functional requirements from business requirements document
Generic Managerial Skills
1. Very Good Communication Skills is a Must
2. Good Task Planning and Reporting Skills required
Education BS in computer science or Equivalent
