Need..Sr .Net developer::ONLY USC, GC

Sr .Net developer

Location – Kansas City, MO (preferred) or Denver, CO

C2C Rate – $50/hr

Duration – 6 months with extensions possible

ONLY USC, GC

 

Once the candidate is selected the Federal Reserve will first do a phone interview which is normally very technical.  A face to face interview would follow that.  If the candidate is not local to Kansas City or Denver then they would have to be in a city that has a Federal Reserve Bank branch in it.  They would require the candidate travel to that location for a Skype interview.  They will not allow the candidate to Skype from anywhere besides a Federal Reserve Bank.

 

Job Summary

This position is responsible for the design, development, supporting existing application and engineering of software solutions using .NET/C# programming languages and deployment technologies. Individuals in this position will possess specialized technical skills in the domain of software development. Individual will be part of a development team supporting the development and maintenance of applications used by the Tenth District Business Lines. Primary responsibility of this role is the design and development of .NET/C# applications. Successful candidate will work directly with the customer, business analysts, test

engineers and others throughout all stages of the development lifecycle to implement application enhancements.

 Key Activities

Develops and enhances moderate to complex business applications.

Responsible for technical design, coding and documentation.

Unit tests code in preparation for business testing and production implementation.

Supports existing business applications in production operation.

Investigates reported problems or issues and implements corrective actions or develops enhancements to meet desired business needs.

Performs backend processes on behalf of business lines, as needed.

Consults with business customers or technology options.

Proposes alternatives and recommends optimal technology solutions for high-level concepts articulated by business lines.

Interacts with business lines to discuss high-level concepts and/or desired technology solutions based on bias from previous experience; suggests/influence optimal

course of action to meet business needs. Explains technical information in terms easily understood by target audiences.

 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with specialization in an information technology field (e.g., Computer/Management Information Systems (MIS/CIS), Computer Science (CS), Electrical/Computer Engineering (EE/CE), or an equivalent combination of related education and/or work experience.

2-6 years of related work experience also required.

Intermediate to advanced skill in at least one programming language that is part of the District and/or FR System's application Development profile required; experience with multiple languages preferred; experience working with SQL.

Server and relational databases required.

2-6 years of experience ASP.NET MVC.2-6 years of experience C#.

2-6 years of experience SQL/T-SQL, DB Design, Stored Procedure & Functions, LINQ and Lambda Expressions.

2-6 years of experience Entity Framework and Windows Communication framework.

2-6 years of experience with unit and integration testing of code.

2-6 years of experience developing applications for enterprise business customers using OOAP/OOAD.

Experience with frameworks like Bootstrap/JQuery/Angular highly desired.

At least one year of experience with agile development methodology.

At least one year of experience working with a project manager or business analyst during project delivery.

Demonstrates full competence with moderately complex applications and develops competence with complex applications. Complexity is based on scope, scale, layers in technology stack that involved, robustness of the application, longevity of the application within the organization, period of exposure to the application, etc.

Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills. Interacts with business lines to discuss high-level concepts and/or desired technology solutions based on bias from previous experience; suggests/influence optimal course of action to meet business needs.
